Empowerment Through Education
These are snapshots of some of our scholar-leaders. They are an impressive group of teenagers and young adults striving to gain their independence through educational avenues. Each comes from an impoverished and fractured family background that allowed for no formal learning after primary school.
EdPowerment works with each student on an individual basis and requires participation in workshops and programs during extended breaks. These build their life skills and use of computers for productive living and practical activities such as job searches. The classroom is only the beginning of how we support our sponsored student family.
As of December 2016 our students attend the following:
International Medical & Technological University, Dar Es Salaam
The Law School of Tanzania
